I used to play a ton of music in lots of different bands. I loved it. I'll get back to doing it again some day soon. But for now, here's a look back at a few of the things I've been a part of and some photos.
Arroyo was a super fun and super fucking loud band I played bass and sang in with some of my favorite people in the world.
L-R Kacy Mazur, Jason McKelley, Me, Greg Ponce
Texas League was an indie / americana rock band that I played drums in with my good friends Kacy, Dave, and Alex.
I won't collapse
Mercy Graves is a wonderful band from Portland that I used to play both drums and keyboards in. They are still working hard and making sweet music. Unfortunately I don't have any of the recordings from when I played with them. Go check out their shows.
I played bass in Reclinerland with Mike Johnson, Anthony Georgis, Robert Martin and several other rotating musicians. It was super a super fun experience and I feel blessed that I got the opportunity to play with a songwriter as tallented as Mike.
Vegas Remains (I don't play on this song, but some of my favorite times with this band were watching Mike play it. )
I played bass in PONO with some of my best friends, Robert Martin, Josh Hackenjos, and Kacy Mazur.
Devils and Street Signs
Mess With Me
All for now.
That's all for now. I have a bunch more, and I may add some fun old school stuff as I come across it.
